Uhhhhhhh.....he does have a "lead" in the least. Certainly not even CLOSE to "insurmountable". Bernie is actually BEHIND Buttigieg in delegate count....and the percentage of total delegates already committed is only fraction of one percent needed to win.

    As of today, 2/21/20:

    Buttigieg - 22
    Bernie - 21
    Warren - 8
    Klobuchar - 7
    Biden - 6

An "insurmountable" lead is when one candidate is unquestionably going to get a MAJORITY of delegates. Maybe it's better to wait a little bit before declaring any lead as "insurmountable".

The fact is that the way Democratic primaries dole out delegates almost assures that no one will go into the convention with even close to a majority of delegates.

And even the polls, that have been kinder to Bernie in showing a relatively large "lead"....has him at around 25%. When 75% of expected Democratic primary voters are not with you....there may be a pretty big problem going forward.

Context nottie, context. The conversation isn't about the delegate count today but projections after Super Tuesday.

    Also the current count is:
    Buttigieg - 23
    Bernie - 21
    Klobuchar - 13
    Warren - 8
    Biden - 6
    COMING SOON...

You know he sees things as black and white, there is no middle ground. Context isn’t his specialty.

Don't worry, the party leadership will be handing out marching orders and telling you exactly who you are going to vote for pretty soon. I'd be surprised if the wheels haven't been put in motion behind closed doors already.

Just like 2016 should have gone, if they didn't already have it rigged.

It worked for Hillary when the party inflated the delegate count and lied about the true nature of the primary race.

Yea, I enjoy that and 270 to wins projections. Majority doesn’t get the automatic nomination and after the first ballot new delegates come into play and teams start forming.

Now I know why the Dems are terrified of Bernie. If the Communist gets the nom, there goes the "Russia favors Trump" bull****.

    Bernie. Is. Not. A. COMMUNIST!

How many damned times do we have to say this?

Don't answer that question, Goob. It's a rhetorical question.

Every time you respond, react or say anything giving into the premise it legitimizes the argument. The only intent of calling Sanders a communist is to get the word communist and socialist said as many times as possible in regard to this campaign because they know it will frighten the crap out of voters.
