Vance Joseph returning to Broncos as defensive coordinator
Per Peter Schrager of NFL Media, the Broncos are hiring Joseph to be their next defensive coordinator under head coach Sean Payton.
After compiling a 11-21 record as Denver’s head coach from 2017-2018, Joseph spent the last four seasons as Arizona’s defensive coordinator under Kliff Kingsbury. He was not retained when the Cardinals elected to hire Jonathan Gannon as head coach, with Gannon hiring Nick Rallis to be Arizona’s new defensive coordinator.
Joseph, 50, has been coaching in the league since 2005. He started with the 49ers and coached defensive backs for San Francisco, Houston, and Cincinnati before he was hired to be Miami’s defensive coordinator in 2016.

The process doesn’t change, I’ve always tried to get better, but with this opportunity, I’ve got to take advantage of it.”

Jeff Bezos hires investment firm to consider Commanders bid - ProFootballTalk
Owner Daniel Snyder reportedly would prefer not to sell to Bezos, given his ownership of the Post — and Snyder’s possible belief that the Post instigated negative coverage of Snyder, potentially to allow Bezos to buy the team. Some have wondered whether Bezos would sell the Post as a goodwill gesture to Snyder.
Snyder’s investment banking partner, Bank of America, get paid based on the final sale price; it won’t care about petty rivalries or hard feelings if Bezos make the highest bid.
Snyder reportedly wants $7 billion for the team. Preliminary expressions of interest made in December 2022 resulted in nothing higher than $6.3 billion.

Bruce Arians- Philosophies "didn't match" for Todd Bowles, Byron Leftwich - ProFootballTalk
“It was very hard for me,” Arians told Rich Eisen recently, via JoeBucsFan.com. “But it’s Todd’s football team. I handed it to Todd for a reason. He’s got to build it in his image. There’s no hard feelings between the two guys; the philosophies just didn’t match. . . . I got all the trust in the world in Todd Bowles, but I feel terrible for Bryon. I think Byron will still be a head coach soon and he should be.”
For now, Leftwich isn’t even an assistant coach. He went from the brink of being hired by the Jaguars in early 2022 to being in football limbo for 2023. He wasn’t interviewed for a single head-coaching job in the current cycle.

Davis Webb is leaving Daboll and the Giants to be the QB coach in Denver.
I wish we could get him back, still think he was the most important guy in the room other than Allen. If Russell Wilson can return to anywhere near his previous form Davis is going to quickly get a reputation for being a quarterback whisperer with three solid signal-callers on his resume'.
