Former NFL running back Frank Gore agreed to a guilty plea to settle criminal charges he faced after being arrested last summer.
TMZ reports Gore pleaded guilty to violating the public health nuisance code and was ordered to pay fines and court fees totaling around $2,000 as a result. Gore, who had been charged with simple assault, also had a false imprisonment charge dismissed.

“I hate to say it but I think it’s age,” Phillips said, according to David Russell of the New York Post. “It’s hard to beat my record as a coordinator so there’s got to be another reason. But that’s OK. I’m glad to be doing what I’m doing.”
Phillips, 75, has worked as head coach of the Broncos, Bills, and Cowboys. He last coached in the NFL in 2019, as defensive coordinator of the Rams. Hired by Sean McVay when he got the head-coaching job in 2017, Phillips wasn’t retained after an initial three-year stint.

The Texans have made a pair of roster moves.
Houston has released offensive lineman Justin Britt and signed defensive back Kendall Sheffield.
Britt played only one game for the Texans in 2022 and was placed on the reserve/non-football illness list in September. He started and was on the field for all 70 offensive snaps in Week One.
A second-round pick in 2014, Britt has appeared in 99 games with 98 starts for Seattle and Houston.
Report- Absent deal, franchise tag coming for Tony Pollard - ProFootballTalk
The good news for Cowboys running back Tony Pollard is that the broken ankle he suffered in the postseason won’t keep the team from applying the franchise tag to him. The bad news is the same.
Pollard’s shot at the open market will be blocked by application of the tag, absent a long-term deal before Tuesday’s deadline for using it. That’s the word from Ian Rapoport of NFL Media.
