Sims spent the last two seasons with the Steelers. He appeared in 12 games with two starts in 2022, recording 14 catches for 104 yards. He also took 13 carries for 70 yards.
Having entered the league as an undrafted free agent with Washington in 2019, Sims has also been a return specialist. Last year with Pittsburgh he averaged 5.5 yards on 19 punt returns and 25.5 yards on 17 kick returns.
In 41 total games, Sims has caught 75 passes for 679 yards with five TDs.

Darius Slay: I was almost a Baltimore Raven
During the opening week of free agency, the Eagles gave cornerback Darius Slay permission to seek a trade, then planned to release Slay, before agreeing on a new two-year contract that kept Slay in Philadelphia. Slay now says that during that process, he almost went to Baltimore.
On his Big Play Slay podcast, Slay explained that the Ravens were offering him a contract he was satisfied with, but Eagles General Manager Howie Roseman ultimately convinced Slay to stay.
Report: Odell Beckham, Jr. is thought to now be looking for $15 million on a one-year deal
He’d previously been seeking $20 million per year. There were no takers, and OBJ bristled 15 days ago at the notion he wants $20 million — while also complaining that no one had offered more than $4 million.
Given the current market at the position, he was right to initially be looking for $20 million. But with no one wiling to make that commitment until he proves himself healthy and capable, he needs to lower his sights.
Cimini suggests that a deal in the range of $10 million to $12 million plus incentives “seems more likely.” However, there’s no reason to think there’s an offer like that on the table.

Carter entered no-contest pleas to misdemeanor racing and reckless driving charges last month and will receive probation as part of the plea deal. Carter’s attention has now shifted back to where he’ll be playing to kick off his NFL career.

A report Sunday indicated Beckham is seeking a one-year, $15 million deal, down from the $20 million he originally was believed to want. Two weeks ago, Beckham complained that the best offer was $4 million.
The Jets and possibly the Rams remain teams in the running for Beckham.
He became a free agent more than a year ago, but after missing all of last season with rehabbing from a torn anterior cruciate ligament in Super Bowl LVI on Feb. 13, 2022, no one has been willing to meet his asking price . . . whatever that is.
Maybe Ravens are trying to sweeten the pot for Jackson by adding a weapon.

There was also word of a meeting with the Panthers and a report on Tuesday shed light on more of his plans. Josina Anderson of CBS Sports reports that Richardson is also slated to meet with the Colts, Falcons, Titans, and Ravens.
