It’s great to see a player pushing back against the draft industrial complex, refusing to go along with the it’s a job interview mantra that justifies poking and prodding and interrogation and travel from city to city to city to city. It’s curious, however, to see the one top prospect with the most red flags taking a stand.
Georgia defensive tackle Jalen Carter has made a calculated risk by refusing to visit teams not picking in the top 10.

Danny Amendola joins Raiders coaching staff - ProFootballTalk

Former Patriots quarterback Brian Hoyer is joining the Raiders roster and one of his former teammates is now a member of the team’s coaching staff.
Danny Amendola is now listed on the team’s website as coaching assistant/returners and multiple reports have confirmed his addition to the staff. The team has not made a formal announcement of the move at this point.

Panthers sign Kamu Grugier-Hill - ProFootballTalk

Grugier-Hill played for the Texans and Cardinals last season. He made six starts for the Texans to open the year, but asked for and received his release after falling out of the lineup in October. He played in nine games after signing with the Cardinals and mostly played on special teams.
Grugier-Hill had 48 tackles across those two stops. He has 282 tackles, five sacks, two interceptions, four forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries in 98 games for the Eagles, Dolphins, Texans, and Cardinals.

Former first-rounder Darron Lee is arrested for assaulting his mother and mother of his child - ProFootballTalk

Darron Lee, a first-round pick of the Jets in 2016, has been arrested for allegedly assaulting his mother and the mother of his child.
Via TMZ.com, the mother of Lee’s two-year-old son called police on Monday to explain that Lee had attacked his mother, Candice Lee. Lindsey McGlone later told police that Darron Lee had attacked her in October 2022.

Aaron Brewer signs restricted free agent tender - ProFootballTalk

The Titans have one of their restricted free agents back in the fold.
The NFL’s daily transaction report for Tuesday shows that offensive lineman Aaron Brewer has signed his tender. Brewer was tendered at the second-round level, so he is now set to make a base salary of $4.304 million for the 2023 season.

Jets, Patriots, Titans set to meet with Broderick Jones - ProFootballTalk

Former Georgia tackle Broderick Jones has lined up a number of visits with NFL teams.
Jeremy Fowler of ESPN reports that Jones is set for meetings with the Jets, Patriots, and Titans. He is also likely to schedule visits with the Bears and Cardinals before the draft gets underway later this month.

Quentin Johnston meeting with Chiefs, Cowboys, Ravens this week - ProFootballTalk

Former TCU receiver Quentin Johnston has a busy week as he gets ready for this month’s NFL draft.
According to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport, Johnston has already met with the Chiefs and Cowboys this week and will go on a top-30 visit to the Ravens on Thursday.

Bryce Young to visit with Raiders on Thursday - ProFootballTalk

Per Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, Young is taking a top-30 visit with the Raiders on Thursday.
Young met with the Raiders in Tuscaloosa, Ala. when he had his Pro Day. But now he’ll get to spend more time with the team’s brass in its Las Vegas facility.
Either at his Pro Day or privately, Young has met with the quarterback-needy teams with picks in the top 10. But Young is likely to come off the board at either No. 1 overall to the Panthers or No. 2 overall to the Texans.

Jets sign Quinton Jefferson - ProFootballTalk

Jefferson played all 17 games for the Seahawks last season and finished the year with 29 tackles, 13 quarterback hits, and 5.5 sacks. It was his second tour of duty in Seattle as Jefferson started his career as a 2016 fifth-round pick by the team.
Jefferson spent one year in Buffalo and another with the Raiders before returning to the Seahawks last year. He has 158 tackles, 20.5 sacks, three forced fumbles, and three fumble recoveries in 89 career games.

Report- Lions have offered Teddy Bridgewater a contract - ProFootballTalk

Via Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com, Teddy Bridgewater has a deal on the table from the Lions. He also reportedly has interest from several teams.
Per Fowler, Bridgewater has decided to take his time. Per common sense, if there was a great offer available currently, Bridgewater would be more likely to take it than to wait for the draft, when an interested team might end up filling the QB2 spot with a rookie.
The Lions have two quarterbacks on the roster — Jared Goff and Nate Sudfeld. In Detroit, Bridgewater would be reunited with head coach Dan Campbell, who was an assistant during Bridgewater’s time with the Saints.

As the 2023 draft inches closer, the quarterback who stands barely above 70 of them may be the selection of the Panthers.

Report- Cowboys are exercising CeeDee Lamb's fifth-year option - ProFootballTalk

That will pay Lamb a guaranteed salary of $19.7 million for 2024.

Lamb, the 17th overall pick in 2020, will make a $2.520 million base salary in 2023 and count $4.458 million against the salary cap.

Lamb, 24, set career-highs in catches (107), yards (1,359) and touchdowns (nine) in 2022 after taking over the No. 1 receiver role from Amari Cooper. He earned his second Pro Bowl.

The Buccaneers will exercise the fifth-year option on the contract of offensive tackle Tristan Wirfs, Scott Reynolds of Pewter Report reports.
