Dolphins sign fullback John Lovett

The Dolphins are bringing in a fullback.
According to agency JL Sports, Lovett has signed with Miami. ESPN’s Adam Schefter notes the deal is for one year.

Packers announce return of Tom Clements as quarterbacks coach

After two years with the Cardinals, Clements announced his retirement from coaching a year ago and was out of the league during the 2021 season, but he has decided to return to work on Matt LaFleur’s staff.
Clements worked with Aaron Rodgers throughout his 11 years on the Packers’ staff, and the two have a good relationship. The decision to bring Clements back is seen as part of the Packers’ attempt to keep Rodgers happy with remaining in Green Bay.

Packers OLB coach Mike Smith is leaving the team

Smith joined the Packers in 2019 and has overseen a group that includes Rashan Gary, Preston Smith, and Za'Darius Smith. Gary and Preston Smith combined for 18.5 sacks in 2021 while Za’Darius Smith missed the final 16 regular season games with a back injury before returning to play in the postseason.
Smith worked for the Chiefs, Jets, and Texas Tech before joining Matt LaFleur’s staff in Green Bay. Inside linebackers coach Kirk Olivadotti remains on that staff.
