    They still have some significant labor issues to deal with before an opening day comes close to being a reality.

    The issue of service time is worth hundreds of millions to the players and owners and there will have to be an agreement on how a shortened or halved season would count towards that.

    Baseball is really the only sport with a relatively strong players association, so this isn't quite as simple as just picking a date after the pandemic to start up.

    As long as it's safe, that would be great. It would be nice to have some live sports to watch while being stuck in the house.
