    Seven-Round 2020 NFL Mock Draft

The NFL Draft is less than three weeks away and it promises to be unlike any draft we've ever experienced -- mostly because of the coronavirus pandemic that will keep NFL owners, general managers and coaches in their homes during the three-day event, but also because there's a real chance for a lot of excitement early in the proceedings as quarterback-needy teams vie for the likes of Tua Tagovailoa, Justin Herbert and Jordan Love. There are no trades in this mock draft (it's our 31st mock draft dating back to September!) but it does include all seven rounds which, if nothing else, should keep you occupied for a good half-hour.

Jonathan Taylor in round 2 our 1st pick.

Rounds 3-7 well what do you think?

7 round draft so maybe they get one possibly 2 of the picks correct.

My guess 1 correct would be a lot.

Jonathan Taylor in the late 2nd would be good from a value perspective. But man that's going to be hard to forecast, as there are intriguing picks at DE (Lewis, Taylor, Okwara), CB (Hall), and WR (Higgins) still on the board. Not to mention other top shelf RBs that would nicely complement Singletary (Dobbins, Moss).

Overall, the positions (see below) seem like a fair approximation of our needs, though I might prioritize an OT a little higher.

    2nd: RB
    3rd: DE
    4th: CB
    5th: WR
    6th: OT
    6th (2): TE
    7th: LB
Wake up, brush your teeth, and get ready for a day of hating the Dolphins. Or the Pats? How to choose?

2nd: OT or DE between these two positions the BPA.
3rd: DE or OT depends on which position was chosen with our first choice.
    4th: RB
    5th: CB
    6th: WR
    6th OG
    7th: LB

Mine would look something like this I dropped the TE and added a OG.
I desperately want a new punter hoping to fill that need without using a draft pick.

Love the Taylor pick. That would be amazing, but I'm having a hard time believing he's going to be available.

Taking Zuniga in round 3 doesn't make a lot of sense when they have his teamate Greenard going a few picks later. They rate Greenard as the better prospect.

WR Collin Johnson in the 5th and OT Trey Adams in the 6th are two picks I really like.

Who will still be there when we pick is the question?

Lots of Claypool fans out there.

If the right RB is available well then what?

I still want the OT if he's there.

Edge is another huge tempt if the guy we want drops.

Gonna be a blast because it's just so unpredictable.

I would have taken Niang in the 2nd. We can find a time share RB later.

It's funny when I was younger I used to like mock drafts. Now? Not so much. A 7 round mock is bound to be 95% wrong.

Re: Seven-Round 2020 NFL Mock Draft

I would like to expand the draft to 10 rounds and eliminate all compensatory picks.
