    1) Patriots will collapse to a top-five pick in the 2021 NFL Draft

By Labor Day, I might even push this to top three. Or on the clock.

Tom Brady is in Tampa. Jarrett Stidham is Jarrett Stidham. Yes, Bill Belichick is the greatest coach in the history of sports, but the roster just isn't that good. The problems that ultimately led to New England's undoing down the stretch last season still exist -- in fact, they're probably even more problematic. And the Patriots no longer have the G.O.A.T. to serve as the ultimate deodorant for what stinks. The receiving corps remains underwhelming. I like the long-term upside of the two tight ends New England drafted in the third round -- Devin Asiasi and Dalton Keene -- but the roster lacks a proven NFL commodity at the position. The offensive line is average at best. Same with the backfield. Defensively, the Pats went from historic during the team's 8-0 start last season to leaky in the second half of the year. And the unit lost a number of key players, including Kyle Van Noy and Jamie Collins.

more on Pats collapse prediction. https-::www.nfl.combold-nfl-predictions-cowboys-roll-seahawks-stumble-pats-collapse

I haven't even mentioned the schedule, which is brutal. Check it out. New England will be the inferior team in almost every single game it plays. Road division games in Miami and New York are hardly givens. The Bills will maul the Patriots.

    Re: Pats Collapse?

Do keep in mind Bill Belichick posted an 11-5 record with Matt Cassel and he is the last good coach the Cleveland Browns had, had not Modell been a complete ******* he would have had that team knocking on the door to a Superbowl too. Do I think they are going to be Brady level of good next year? No. However, I think you cannot rule them out until they are done.

Yeah but look at it this way: they lost 5 games from the year before. Playing an easy schedule no less. And the weapons on offense were amazing. There is no Randy Moss on the team now.

Look at it this way, he took the Browns to the playoffs, and a win in the playoffs at that, and even in 1995 they were still very much in the playoff hunt before Modell deflated them completely.

We’ve been hearing about the demise of the Patriots since 2003. I’ll believe it when it happens. They should be about to get 5-6 wins out of the division alone. It’s hard to see them losing to the Broncos or Cardinals at home.

He took them to the playoffs once in his 5 years there. And his record without Brady is .500.

Huh? They went 11-5 when Brady was hurt and 3-1 when he was suspended. Brady us a product of Bellicheck’s system.

To put this another way, Belicheat has taken his teams exactly once to the playoffs in 7 seasons without Brady. That's 1 out of 5 seasons in Cleveland and 0 out of 2 in Cheaterland.

And 36-44 w/o Brady in Cleveland, which puts him at .500 ball without TomTom (literally 50-50).

Yup. Most forget/ignore Belicheat's first season in 2000 and the first 2 games of 2001 with Bledsoe starting.

He won 11 games one of those seasons. Just bad luck that they didn’t make it.

You guys are fooling yourselves. The times he failed without Brady were forever ago. More recent history has shown that he’s learned to win without him.

Bellichick wins by defenses that are hard as hell to score on, and by filming in real time what your defense is doing and feeding that info to his QB. Its why you always play close in the first game when he doesn't have as much footage on you and then proceeds to jack you up in the second meeting when he has film of you.
