    I'll never call it that.

While I do prefer meaningful names to corporate ones, it always pissed me off that Ralph cried poverty compared to the big markets while turning down millions of dollars in revenue to placate his ego.

Sell the naming rights to the Patriots. They own the place every time they visit.

The Dolphins beat us 20 str8 so maybe they have a claim as well?

Old Folks like me still call it Rich stadium.

    Younger call it the Ralph.

But I'm with some of you others here in that I'll always kinda think of it as Rich Stadium, where I've actually worked. It's like if my friend Ernie changes his name to Axle, he'd still be old Ernie to me...
What if he changed it Evelyn?

I think this is the best suggestion I've read. Who wouldn't like that?

Re: New Era stadium naming rights dropped

Tim Graham at The Athletic Buffalo wrote an article recently on the team's search for a new company to take over the naming rights. In passing, he mentioned that New Era had missed multiple payments over multiple due dates, including last year's installment.

Therefore making the entire premise of the thread worthless.

This is confusing to me. I mean, they moved their WNY operation to China so that had to save money. They make the official hats for MLB and most of their caps retail for around $40. In COVID times, sure- their production in China had to take a hit, MLB not having a season had to hurt them and people aren't buying $40 baseball caps when the economy is in the ****ter. I just have a hard time seeing how they weren't making money before the COVID madness.

There is a Rock Pile Inc. in Ohio.

too bad the cost for the naming rights is more than their annual receipts.

But then...go big or go home.
