    Deeeeep ball to Brown...

I recall seeing Allen gesturing to Brown as if to say deeep deeep. I don’t recall if Brown altered the route but the ball was massively overthrown and nearly picked.

sk the come back with exact same route next play. TD

here is the question. Do you think Daboll had the stones to call the same play back to back or did Josh dial
    it up after that miss?

no matter who made the decision, they both get credit. Daboll is responsible for what is in Josh's head.

Not a big Daboll fan, but I'll give him credit for that one. I don't think he's oblivious, just lost in his magical playbook of possibilities most times.

It's good to see them throwing ****, and see the **** ball working. **** thoughts with a **** roster, it's ****. I have a **** appreciation for **** work to take them **** into the playoff hunt.

    ****.
I lost a bet with Pink and all I got was this dumb avatar that I've had awhile anyway.

Back to the original question: It looked to me like they ran the same play twice in a row. I have a friend who's a Dolphins fan and I was texting him during the game, and at the time I texted him asking how they just fell for the same play two consecutive times.

    Re: Deeeeep ball to Brown...

First time it seemed to be a miscommunication on the route. Then they ran the same play and it worked.
My faith doesnít make me perfect, it makes me forgiven.

    Re: Deeeeep ball to Brown...

The question was did Daboll call it again or did Josh since it was a miscommunicated first try?

can Josh only hear in his helmet?

I can’t see Daboll as the one saying do it again... perhaps Josh called it up.

I doubt Josh called it. The days of QB's calling plays ended with the Kelly/Marino/Elway era. The only way you could say Josh "called" it is if he saw that Miami was in the same D formation that got beat on the previous play and audibled to it. But my guess is that Daboll told them to do it again.

    Re: Deeeeep ball to Brown...

New England is famous for calling the same play over and over again until you can stop it. Daboll has done this before.

**** that entire game was a just a bunch of crossing routes that Miami couldn't cover. Eventually they started mixing in some zone because the DBs couldn't run all the way across the field with Brown and Diggs. And even when they managed to keep up with Beasley, Josh fit it into a tight window and still beat the coverage. They had no answer so we just kept running it.

This offense will beat up any team that plays man and can't rush the passer. Josh still makes some mistakes against zone, especially plays where the DB covering the flat breaks off and jumps the deeper route. I think we'll see that a bunch until he proves he can beat it.

Whose idea was it to make that a banned word in the first place? If the words deep state offends you you're a wuss.
