    Question MNF: Chiefs @ Ravens

    Are you going to watch?

If yes, who are you rooting for and why?

I plan on watching - at least the first half. I'm also going to root for the Ravens. I'm sick and tired of the local Chiefs fans (and the ones on the web) calling the Bills & Allen "Pretenders/Garbage etc. The Bills aren't doing anything right - it's the opposing team melting down/bigger garbage/refs giving the Bills the game etc." I'm not sure where the Bills hatred over the last couple years has come from (by Chiefs fans)... so damn, I hope they lose tonight.

Maybe that will shut them up for a week until they can take "revenge" out on Belicheck's Patriots.

    Sorry, Chiefs here.

I can't stand the Lamar Jackson mania anymore, and like better Mahomes.

I like Mahomes better too and would normally root for them! I just hear a lot more from Chiefs fans here than Ravens here. The one "local" Ravens fan that I knew here moved back to the east coast years ago. There are just so many bandwagon Chiefs fans here it's pathetic.

Mahomes by far. I only need the score to be around 58-55 to have any chance in my fantasy league this week.

Clash of the Titans to be sure.

But I'm an old AFL guy.

If it can't be us, I'd rather see the Chiefs win it all.

The modern NFL would not exist had it not been for Mr. Hunt's vision.

Hoping for the Chiefs to win too. If they're 5-0 coming into Buffalo, hopefully they overlook us.

Ravens, Chiefs fans are getting incredibly obnoxious and that is a problem since I am surrounded by them.

IF you choose to follow your old troubled MO of trying to provoke me, bait me, troll me, and attack me, I am not going to respond to you. I will report you very quickly and have you very quickly dealt with by the mods because yes, the TOS apply to me and they do apply to you whether you like it or not. If you are confused about what the TOS are, click the link at the end of my signature. And I don't know why Chiefs fans are so hard on the Bills.

It's not like we didn't give them Mahomes or anything...

I understand living in a Cowboys, Steelers, Raiders, Dolphins and now and since the SB wins Patriots ****ing country.

I was really interested in Lamar as a pick over Josh, trying not to pick a Qb before the 20th pick, but since then, I can't really stand this kid anymore, I'm OK with the Ravens fans, have several good friends in Kansas so rooting for them is easier for me.

Its fascinating, the Chiefs fans who don't give me **** have been fans since at least Trent Green, and some of the most well mannered remember Grbac over Gannon, Steve Bono, Montana, Krieg, DeBerg, and those with grey hair remember Kenney, ripped their hair out because of Blackledge, and remember Livingston and Dawson. Those guys are good natured and I am so glad they finally got to see a championship again.

Then there are the Chiefs fans who have been fans since Clark Hunt established the franchise in 2018. These fans, to a bastard and b****, are ass wholes. **** them. They deserve 17 years in the wilderness.

I'm sooo excited for this game.

I think the Ravens win it. Not easily, but i do think they're the better team.

Retired guy who slept in today and may nap later, prior to kickoff. Recording either way.

Great matchups must never be missed. No hype needed.

    Re: MNF: Chiefs @ Ravens

I don't actively root against the Ravens because their D's were really fun to watch back in the Ray Lewis days. But my problem with Ravens fans is that they're spoiled Since the team came back in 1996, they've made the playoffs 12 of 24 seasons, including 5 straight from 2008-2012 and 6 out of 7 from 2008-2014. They won 2 Super Bowls in their first 16 years of existence. If the Bills won 2 Super Bowls every 16 years, we'd have 6 going on 7.

They're on their 2nd franchise QB of the 21st century whereas we maybe finally found our first. And they get to beat up on the Bengals and Browns 4 games a year (but I guess I shouldn't really complain about that too much because we get the same thing with the Jets and Fish... but I digress).

Point is, the fans don't know hardship the way we do.

Ozzie Newsome was top notch as a personnel guy.

The amazing part about their run since 96 is that they've done it even after firing the best NFL head coach easily of our lifetimes and perhaps ever.

Still has to prove he can win a championship without Tom Brady before I say he is the GOAT, but yeah he is the greatest of this generation and will always be in the same sentence as Shula, Halas, Lombardi, Noll, Gibbs, Walsh, and Landry.
