Trevor Lawrence declares for 2021 NFL Draft

    Next stop, Jacksonville?

What was long expected has come to pass, as Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence has declared for the 2021 NFL Draft.

In a video posted on social media, Lawrence thanked his college coaches, teammates, and fans for their support in his three years at the university.

“I’ll look back at these three years and have the best memories,” Lawrence said. “I really feel like I’m a man now and I’m ready to take on those challenges. Just super excited for life ahead. The best is always yet to come, but I’m grateful for Clemson and I’m going to miss it.”

“I didn’t perform well enough for this team . . . We moved the ball well enough. We got down to the red zone but we couldn’t get the ball in the end zone. A couple bad decisions on my part,”

Real interesting prospect. Have seen him use the Bortles "walk like an egyptian" windup though it's seldom mentioned besides "has a long limbed motion". Can't ever be so sure about college QB's being the savior.

I'm glad it's not our concern any more.

I'm not concerned about him. If he can't put on about 20lbs he won't hold up to the physicality of the NFL.

Always interested in monitoring the future progress of the next " sure thing " .

It all depends what organization he goes to and whether he will put in the work.
    We don't even have pictures
    Just memories to hold
    That grow sweeter each season
    As we slowly grow old...

Re: Trevor Lawrence declares for 2021 NFL Draft

I can't see it working well combined with Urban Meyer. I still think Meyer obliviously wrecked Tebow as a QB with pro potential before he even got to the draft. I kind of want to see Meyer become an NFL coach for the comedy of all star college guy flatlining in the pro game, but I'd hate to see him take anyone down with him.
