The ball was sailing on him going over the WRs heads because the wind was taking it.
I have a serious question for you: Have you ever been in Bills Stadium on a windy day? I've been to over 250 games there and I've seen QBs have the wind disrupt their passes numerous times. It has nothing to do with arm strength when the wind takes a throw and it sails.
Look at what the wind did with the kicks. Justin Tucker has the all time accuracy % and he missed 2 of 3 kicks.

We've seen what Allen can do.
Tonight solidified a crazy thought that was put in my head a few months ago. One that i NEVER thought that i would adhere to. It's basically sacrilege IMO. But it's the truth.
We have a crazy good QB and a pretty crappy run game. We're going to have this crazy good QB for another 15 years (god willing).
We should build a dome. Tomorrow!
I know these things take years.
Get on it NOW!
Yes, Josh Allen can play in the elements better than most. He's big. He's done it before. Big hands, strong arm. Blah Blah Blah.
I love the frosty Ralph more than anyone. But we're wasting Josh's talents with this stadium. BIG TIME.
The cold and the snow was never the problem in WNY. It was always the wind. The wind is a killer. And if your team is a pass-happy bunch with a killer at QB, why the hell are you going to play in the winds of WNY when you could just build a dome and dominate?
Terry, Kim, County execs.. whoever...
Get on it now! You're potentially wasting a great thing.
Yeah, yeah... i know. We're built Ford tough up here. It's trash. If you own a Ferrari, you don't drive it in a blizzard.
All Hail Josh Allen! Savior of the Buffalo Bills!

Jake Fromm ftw.
Not just NO. HELL NO!
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?
I have seen the winds at Rich Stadium mess with Pro Bowl kickers alot over the last 47 years. David Treadwell in the 1992 AFC Championship missed three fgs, that if he makes them, defeat the Bills 16-10.
Yesterday's winds reminded me of a December 1987 game against the Pats, Win and you're in.
As the Bills are driving, the wind blows a Kelly pass right into the arms of Fred Marion. Bills eliminated.
And here's the thing.
The streamers at the top of the posts are worthless, as the wind comes off the lake, and blows around the stadium in a circular vortex.
Kickers can't play the wind here, it's too unpredictable. They need to kick it as straight as possible and pray for the best.

You and ass wiper should get a room
Agree. He was ok on shorter passes. His accuracy stunk on longer passes. It was jitters. And it lasted all game. He had some guys wide open deep. He saw them. He just rocketed the balls. The coaches need to get him to calm down a bit and he'll be fine.
I'm pretty sure the Ravens secondary is better than Kansas City's. Allen will be ok.
Can you see Allen vs. Rodgers in the Super Bowl? I'm starting to dream a little.

The long balls ween't bad passes, they were affected by the winds.
To hop on Historian's bandwagon, one of my memories from the early days of Rich Stadium is seeing the wind take a Joe Namath pass (and it was a medium crosser, not a deep floater) and push it off 90 degrees, literally.
Allen played a really good game, with no turnovers. The only criticism one might be able to level at him is he went to the deep ball too many times despite having them affected by the wind every time. He'll learn from that like he does everything else.

I wouldn't want any other QB in the league on the Bills right now.

Ravens came with a somewhat uncharacteristic game plan for Allen yesterday. They are one of the most aggressive and best defenses in football and they laid back and let Allen play while they spied him and worked on our receivers. What they did on defense was really impressive. Offensively, they just didn't get it done and they made some pretty big mistakes that cost them the game.
I think your analysis is off. Earlier in the season there were little things that would rattle Allen. He was focused for four quarters last night. Things weren't going his way either and he was chugging through it -- struggling to get the ball where he wanted it but coming back seconds later with a clean head ready to try again.
What you saw was an excellent defense coming with a ton of respect for Josh Allen and the way he will tear them to shreds if they let their guard down.
What you saw was Josh Allen moving his brain away from hero ball and giving that control back to all the guys who can then turn around, execute, and make plays to overcome more and more adversity.
It's not always going to be pretty but Allen is growing in the right direction and the team is getting better every week by enjoying playing football and being reflective.
There is a chance we are going to see Allen carve up a defense next week. Wonder who we are going to be playing. I would love to see Clevelend win to bring the game to Buffalo ... but I sure would like another shot at KC too! We didn't play well when we went out there the first time this year. Allen was hurt he shouldn't even have been on the field. We looked like **** ... and in the end we played a very strong team oriented game plan that had us at least close to a position to win somehow. There was a lot of growth that day as ugly as it looked.
I think we are ready for the Chiefs and going out there and beating them is a huge step for this organization on top of big steps they have already taken this season. Time to spread some gravy around ...

Then the Ravens should be more concerned about their reigning MVP qb.
