It took forever for the D to gel with the loss of Starr and additions.
We blow up this D again, I dont think we get any closer to figuring out KC offense.

Yeah - although I do think that talent means you need to rely less on perfect coaching and execution. I think that part of our issue was the talent we added was simply not as good as the talent we lost. But big picture I agree--consistency is critical, and the positive is that this year I don't think we're going to lose anyone on the D line unless we want to. Last season Star was out of our hands, and Shaq and Phillips got overpaid elsewhere.

there will be changes made with KC in mind. Our D got better in the 2nd half of the season but were exposed by Indy. KC made it look easy. We struggle vs. balanced teams.

This is going to be one of the BEST off seasons in a generation for the Bills.

I CAN'T WAIT to see the plan that McDermott and Beane come up with.

What I will mostly ignore is all the armchair GM's that give their opinion that is worth as much as the orifice on the backside that we all have.

My orifice says the Bills need a more productive running back (Singletary or Moss are not the answers)....a strong edge rusher....fortify the offensive line.....beef up the D-line (Oliver has been a huge disappointment)....and strengthen the depth of the secondary....might be looking for a new linebacker since Milano will probably leave the team because the Bills would probably be stupid to pay him what he'll demand on the free agent market.

Who are you going to replace Morse with?

Saving 37 million is fine, but you have to replace these guys too.

I'd bet you $5 right now that they re-negotiate Diggs, give him a huge up front bonus, an extra year, and save whatever his cap hit is next year. They can do the same for Brown, Morse, etc.

There are other ways to create cap space than cutting guys. Yes, I agree, some should be cut, but you don't just cut guys to free up space without having replacements

That's why not too much of it will happen until after draft/free agency.

Dumb. Coveting cap space over quality depth is how we go back to who we used to be.

I guess it depends on A.) do they feel Feliciano can do as good of a job as Morse and B.) Do they feel Ford can do as good of a job as Feliciano. If either one is no, then you don't do it, IMO.

Actually the numbers I get by releasing (Pre-June 1st) Addison, Brown, Jefferson, Butler and Morse is $34.1M. With other teams needing to shed cap, they can find bargains.
