Good with the bad. The Stars 3rd goal was a lack of effort by him to go get the puck before the Stars forward threw it towards the net and it bounced in off of Pysak. He is quite maddening.

Make him a forward. I am sick of Granato sticking up for this guy and every game the Sabres have 50 shots against. It's unforgiveable. But Kim Pegula is clueless about it all.

I'd be more inclined to keep Dahlin back and move on from guys like Bryson and such.

When it rains, it pours with this team; earlier today, head coach Don Granato noted that Jack Quinn is going to be out of the lineup(how much time is unknown); he suffered a lower body injury and was scheduled to have an MRI today. He played through it for two periods; Granato noted that it's probably a good sign.

Also: Granato added that if Craig Anderson is ready to go, he'll be the Sabres #1 netminder again. Anderson, however, said he'd need 5-7 good practices to get to the point where he'd be ready.

Sabres players are always injured. And for long periods.

Something is not right with the organizations training department/medical staff.

From Mike Harrington of the Buffalo News: "Mostly bad luck. Zero to do with S/C when you see things like Subban, Okposo, Quinn hurt in game. Haag/Samuelsson blocked shots. Anderson hit in head by (San Jose's Tomas) Hertl."

Sportslogos.net notes that next season will see the return of the Goathead jersey(albeit with a few tweaks).

Don't spend a dime on this team until they spend a dime to make the team better.

Krebs gets his first career goal!

Time for him to get injured.

Seriously though, exciting youth on the horizon. Cozens is coming on too.

Thompson's got a pair of goals. So does Skinner.

Fun game. Couldn't be happier for Houser. Put Girgenson and Mittelstadt in there and keep the team healthy maybe they can do this again soon. Penalty kill was much better.

Don't know what Eichel will look like when he comes back, but Tuch and Krebs were good gets in that trade.

Yes, but it's Philly...who is proving to be a massive disappointment.

Mitts is CLOSE to getting back in the lineup.

As for Tuch, he's got 10 points in 9 games.

Followup to #656: Mittelstadt is back in the lineup for tonight's game against Ottawa; he'll be centering a line with Krebs & Bjork.

Ottawa came out with a chip on their shoulder for this game.

    Sabres PP was 0-5.

    Ottawa - 5

    Buffalo - 0

Re: 2021-2022 Buffalo Sabres Gameday thread.

Getting updates, I'm glad I skipped this game (along with most of the others)

The future is bright, but I've never been so apathetic towards this team in my whole fandom. Going by sabres podcasters, im hardly alone
