Texans fire David Culley
Mace (01-13-2022)
I kind of feel bad for Culley, who actually did way better than I expected. But then again he walks away with $22 million total for it and I suppose I could live with someone making a fool of me for $22 million. Great guy, good deal.
Houston....well, not much to say about Houston as a franchise anymore.
We don't even have pictures
Just memories to hold
That grow sweeter each season
As we slowly grow old...
I think Flores becoming available greased the skids on Culley.

Night Train (01-17-2022)
Raiders just fired GM Mike Mayock... on the NFL Network right now.
Mace (01-17-2022)
Very good as an analyst ... should just return to that.
Really enjoyed him on draft day!
I kind of thought, if a team wanted to take an FO swing at him, it would have been in personnel slanted toward college. Not a GM, but hey..
Misses in the first round was probably part of it, even though his Day 2 and 3 picks hit pretty well.
Also there appears as though there was some sort of roster power vacuum that emerged after Gruden left that Mayock was gunning to fill and ended up getting burned by it.
COMING SOON...
