How is Lamar a MVP favorite when Hurts is statistically better this year?

I just don't get this. Hurts has more total TDs, less ints, just 300 less total yards


I know Lamar is better but he's 12th in total TDs and 5th in turnovers

But when this MVP candidate is 14th in total TDs and 7th in ints thrown along with multiple turnovers and a 66 yard field goal from losing to the lions


Should he really be a top MVP favorite


Allen/Stafford/Brady/Rodgers are blowing him out the water


Mahomes who's had a bad season is still having a much better season than Jackson even in the turnover department


It just amazes me that it's controversial to be like why the **** is he an MVP favorite


Narrative helps, I get that. But I still think you have to have a great season to win MVP
