Bills vs Chiefs: Buffalo Small Underdog

This Sunday night in the divisional round of the NFL Playoffs, according to DraftKings Sportsbook. That’s not a surprise. What is a slight surprise is how small the line is; Buffalo started as a 2.5-point underdog and the line has already moved down to 2 overnight.

Kansas City gets the home field, which usually accounts for 3 points, so on a neutral field, the Bills would actually be favored in this game.

The over/under is the highest it’s been in a while. With two prolific offenses, the total points in the game is set at 54. All told, bettors predicted a 28-26 win for the Chiefs.

I haven't seen a game time prediction, but I'm guessing the temperature will start out in the upper 30s - maybe 37 and drop to close to freezing by the games end. This is the game the entire organization has been working for, starting as soon as the final whistle blew in the conference championship game last year.

Getting better than KC fueled free agency, re-signings, the draft, OTAs, training camp, etc etc.

They kind of met their goal in a less meaningful regular season game, but you have to be better when it's win or go home.

The result of this game will either justify everything McBeane and Co have done in the last 12 months, or stain the same as a failure.

I know its probably irrelevant, but I hate to think that the betting lines might inspire KC to feel disrespected. I think this is a pickem matchup on an even field, but I would much rather the Chiefs go into this thing with everyone in the world telling them that they can't lose. Money doesn't lie though and if we're getting most of the action, they're going to recognize that. I'd feel disrespected if i was them and didn't have at least a 3 point edge by the oddsmakers and betting community.

If it closes at 2 or 2.5 that screams the books want you to Take KC. Holding it there is to get kc money expecting 3 point win. Let's see if it moves
