    Cap Situation

Maybe it doesn't deserve a thread, but as there are some citing the cap as the reason why we are running out of time for this run, what is our cap situation and is the league still discussing adding more to the cap? Does anyone know? Thanks for your time.

They have the QB. The run will last as long as Josh does. You can change the other parts, as long as you have the engine you will be fine.

They could save 12.7 million by trading and average linebacker.

I don’t hate Edmunds but foolish money pays him 12.7

he is a piece but not a centerpiece. If no one game plans against you then you shouldn’t be making that kind of cake.

I don't understand all of this "window to win" talk. Patriots won for 22 years. The Chiefs have been to 4 straight AFC title games. Packers have been a contender for 15-20 years.

There is no window. As long as the Bills have Josh Allen, they are a contender.

This. The worst thing the Bills can do is hand out bad contracts to try and “win now” in some imaginary window. Draft well every season and you’ll stay competitive.

Not true. Yesterday proves it. Josh played lights out and it wasn't enough to win because we had no D.

    What's not true?

That they are a contender? They are. Just because a team doesn't make it to the superbowl, doesn't mean they aren't a contender. The Bills will be a contender next year, and many years after that.

Will they win a superbowl? I have no idea. Is this season disappointing? Sure. Does the team have some flaws? Absolutely. That's up to the front office and coaches to fix. Whether they do it, is another story, but that doesn't change the fact that the Bills will be in the thick of the hunt for an AFC championship for as long as Josh Allen is the QB (healthy of course).

    Bingo. Close the thread.

The entire front 7, or should I say front 6 Leslie Frasier, is not good enough. They need a Watt or Bosa-type. The 3 DEs that Beane drafted are not that guy.

Singletary needs to go. I'm sick of seeing him run into guy's @$$es for 1 yard.

Kroft dropped that ball at the beginning and thenthe Bills only threw to him 3 more times. The BILLS obviously don't trust him.

They need White back healthy and a 2nd CB.

Only the starting safeties and White should be considered untouchable.

    And run from Edmounds can.

Star and Beasley should come off the books. Hughes might, too. He's too expensive to play half the snaps.

    Knox is who you meant.

Milano is a player. The issue is White will miss a portion of the season and then mentally he needs to become his old self with the rebuilt knee/trust.

Rousseau and Bash are rookies but Epenesa is a bust.

a fat guy needs to replace Star. One that plays almost all the games… for less

12.7 is stoopid Edmunds money. Value guys are needed with Josh’s contract hitting the books.

I agree with everything except Singletary. He's shown, to me anyways, that he can be a good enough RB for what they need. Behind him is pure garbage, though. At worst, they need a 2nd RB that isn't blind.

Frazier's scheme sucks. I'm sorry, but I've been saying it for 3 years. It's garbage. Maybe it's the players. I don't know, but the Defense needs a complete re-evaluation. Being #1 means absolutely diddly when you crap the bed on national Television and lose a game that your offense won you, two times, in the last 2 min of the game.

I don't understand how any Bills fan can forget this.

20 years of watching the Kyle Ortons and JP Losmans QB lead the team to mediocre, at best, seasons. 20 years of watching coach after coach fail, get fired/quit on the team. 20 years of players not wanting to come to Buffalo because it was a trainwreck from top to bottom. 20 years of watching meaningless football, usually starting in November, most times earlier.

I will never forget those 20 miserable years, and I will enjoy every minute of the current run, regardless of whether they win a superbowl or not. Getting angry over a team of millionaires that's owned by billionaires losing is just not my motive any longer. I still love the Bills. I still live for Sundays when they play, and when there's no games left, I still feel a bit empty. I also realize that I have a pretty good life, and that a Bills win or loss has absolutely zero effect on my life (unless I gamble on the, which I never do).

I, too, am strongly of this mindset.

And while I think there needs to be some personnel "upgrades" at certain positions (tired of seeing Singletary run into the @$$es of other players for 1 yard gain), I think the loss yesterday was far more about lapses in coaching (specifically the head coach and DC) than it was about personnel.

As long as we have a healthy JA.

Good luck with that with our running game.

The time was now. McD snatched defeat from the jaws of victory

I was over it by the time I was ready to fall asleep at 1am. I enjoy it but ultimately it's just a game. I feel bad for Josh but those 250 mill will ease his pain.
