Well he's somebody else's problem now. I'm over it after this game. Very happy with Tuch and Krebs. Plus we get a 1st and a 2nd. The Sabres did ok on this trade. Even when Tuch and Krebs aren't scoring, they are playing hard and acting like leaders.

Eichel always reminded me of Vanek. No leadership, came in, scored a couple low energy goals, didn't add much to the defensive/physical game, and was just blah

Like I said in the game day thread, I’ve been less harsh on him than others, because I recognize that he’s human and it’s damn near impossible to give 100% in a situation where you know failure is inevitable. But I can’t give him the benefit of the doubt anymore. Sabres fans were literally rooting for our beloved team to lose so we could get him, and he took that cheap shot at us anyway.

At this point, I think he’s just a flawed human being. I think he recognized his own hockey talent at a young age, and since then thought NHL success was his guaranteed destiny and he doesn’t have to work hard or care about anyone else to get it.

I'd put Dahlin just because he's the face of the franchise right now. And it's time period accurate. I hate when someone puts a name and number on a jersey that that player didn't play in.

Aha! I found a site that lists each number and who wore it. I am going to go with Dudley or Deadmarsh. Deadmarsh sounds kinda cool, like a spoonful of mustard in a tall Budweiser.
