With the Adams trade, Beasley ending up in Green Bay makes a lot of sense.

He should have taken the pay cut. He's going to miss out on his SB ring now. Thanks for the service Cole. Wish him the best. Unless he lands in the AFCE or with KC.

Exactly. Beasley and Rogers can swap vaccine conspiracy theories.

    Re: Beasley released

BTW....just like I predicted some time ago, every time Beasley is written about in sports media, his stupid anti-vaccine bull**** is mentioned.

    NFL.com
Though he's played a secondary role for the entirety of his career, Beasley's name remained in the online conversation last year for off-field reasons. The receiver attracted attention for his outspoken stance against vaccinations for COVID-19, and eventually landed on the reserve/COVID-19 list late in the regular season.

    SI.com
Beasley made headlines last year by being vocally against the NFL’s COVID-19 protocols for unvaccinated players. He claimed to neither be for or against the COVID-19 vaccine but “pro choice” instead

    ESPN
He missed one game last season after testing positive for COVID-19 while being unvaccinated. Beasley has been vocal on social media about his thoughts on the NFL/NFLPA's COVID-19 policies, including threatening to retire. During the season, he decided to delete his Twitter account after labeling it a distraction. ESPN's Chris Mortensen reported Beasley was fined multiple times for COVID-19 protocol violations.

    USA Today
Off the field, things drastically changed for Beasley once COVID-19 and vaccinations became a hot-button topic.
The wide receiver became a polarizing figure on the matter as far as the NFL is concerned, so much so that he read a “pro-choice statement” early in training camp last season

    The Bleacher Report
Beasley generated headlines last season for what he described as a "pro choice" stance on COVID-19 vaccines. In October, he suggested Bills fans were booing him because of his unvaccinated status.

"Only place I get boo'd is at our home stadium," he wrote on his since-deleted Twitter account. "Then some of the same people want me to take pictures and sign autographs. I thought Bills fans were the best in the world? Where'd they go?"

    Buffalo News
As an unvaccinated player, Beasley bristled at the NFL’s vaccine regulations the past year. He also was put off early in the season when he drew some boos over his stance from the home crowd in Orchard Park.

    The Athletic
Entering his age-33 season, it's fair to wonder how impactful he can be moving forward. Beasley's trade request was likely a build-up of a dwindling role and a residual effect of the initial public backlash over his very open stance about vaccination. It was the best outcome for all parties to move on.
The legacy of Cole Beasley will be about his insane anti-vaccination bull****.

You are getting what you deserve Cole.

“Self-centered” because he spoke out for something he thought was wrong? Which it turns out he was right all along.

Notice how the NFL didn’t have a single case of covid during the playoffs once they lifted all the bull**** rules. Even while covid was surging everywhere else.

His role was to shut up and take the jab putting his body on the line just like every other player on the team. Allowing the whole thing to play out in public--**** him.

I really don’t care if he got vaccinated or not. I think it incredibly STUPID and shows his lack of respect of his teammates and family.

But, his going out in public (****ting on the TEAM’S agreement to shut their mouths) and pimping FALSE and MISLEADING information is what is so repulsive.

    **** you, Cole.

Did Beasley not sign anywhere? Is he hurt? Did he retire? No one wants him?

    Re: Beasley released

He could probably of had a cheap contract if he wanted it. I'm guessing he wants to much money.

I would imagine it’s likely about the amount of money he wants. Fairly or unfairly, teams aren’t going to play him just for his pay, they are going to protect themselves against his decision to put himself first. He’ll probably sign after Training Camp opens or shortly into the season.

Just a little surprised he hasn't landed anywhere yet. I agree with what you've posted, just thought he would have latched on somewhere already and hadn't heard anything about him.

You have to wonder what his desire to still play is. He takes a beating every year, and plays hurt a lot.

It’s also fair to point out that most veterans don’t really like Training Camp, so that could also be a factor in his delayed signing.
