Will Bills fans overrun SoFi Stadium for Week One visit to Rams?

    https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...visit-to-rams/

The 2021 regular season ended with 49ers fans swarming SoFi Stadium for a game against the Rams. Will the 2022 season start with a similar hostile takeover by Bills Mafia?
With Buffalo drawing the assignment to face the Rams on the night they celebrate their championship and embark on their defense of it, it will be interesting to see whether and to what extent Bills fans invade the venue.

No. The ticket costs will be too high.

It will be banner/ring night. I don't think so.

We will have a presence there. Though probably not like the 9ers did last season.

It's going to be successful Wyoming grads, long-time Bills fans that moved West of the Mississippi and (yes) some very wealthy WNYers with a lot of time on their hands.

Pinto Ron is going to be there i can assure you of that...

I'm thinking of going and I expect there will be a lot of Bills fans. The cheapest tickets are about $200 right now.

That's actually cheaper than the resale Tix up on the Bills site for the Steelers game.

Well Pinto Ron goes to a lot of away games- all of them since the 90's, with the exception of COVID, IIRC.

Most of them aren't Bills fan takeovers.

Re: Will Bills fans overrun SoFi Stadium for Week One visit to Rams?

For ****s and giggles, I looked into going to the LA Rams game.

Itís a fairly easy five hour drive from my home, and I could leave in Thursday morning, go to the game and use some hotel points for Thursday night and drive back home Friday.

Yes, they have tickets ďas low as $161Ē....but take look where those seats are. WAY up in the upper corners of the stadium. ****ty seats for sure.

Anything that is worthwhile is in the multi hundreds going into over a thousand dollars.

The biggest attraction of this stadium is the HUGE TV screens that hovers over the field....called the 'eighth wonder of the world'

What is the benefit of watching the game on their big TV screen over being comfortable as can be in my own home, and NOT having to spend 10 hours on the road and spend God knows how many dollars to do so???

    The answer....there is none.

NFL football is a sport designed and best consumed on TV.

I suspect that the only Bills game(s) I will ever go to is if and when the Bills play here in Vegas. I was all set to go to the 2020 game here, but Covid had another idea.

The TV viewing experience is far superior to watching live, but there is no match to being there in terms of excitement and energy. Itís that feeling that sells tickets.
Unfortunately, with few exceptions, the NFL exceeded my ticket spending limits a while ago. Iím still hoping to find some reasonable tix from a motivated seller to the Ravens game and hopefully a home game this year though.

I'm probably going to the Ravens game, and the Notre Dame game against Navy in the same stadium.

But good luck finding a motivated seller. The resellers are all reporting that it's the most expensive home game for the Ravens this year. I was looking yesterday and lower bowl endzone were going for about $200-250 (my wife doesn't like heights so we always try to avoid the upper deck, and club level is too rich for our blood). For a couple, that's not unreasonable, but for a family, that gets real expensive real quick.

And you're absolutely right about the energy. There is nothing like the excitement and energy of a Bills tailgate. It's almost impossible to describe to someone who's never been there. I've taken a few people who aren't Bills fans over the years and they can't even believe it.

I paid $600 for two tix so me and my son could go to the Steeler game. If not for the flight costs, i'd go to SOFI week 1 no doubt!

I haven't bought football tickets in a while and I usually end up getting them a lot closer to the game. Is now a good time to buy? Will prices just go up or can you find better deals later?

When single game Tix go on sale from the Bills official box office, the prices should come down. Some games should come down a lot.
