I'm not losing sleep over Mac Jones until he gives me a reason to. Neither this article from the Boston Globe, his yards per game, nor his completion percentage give me a reason, especially considering the easy schedule they had last year during their run.

Fantasy may be a good term for Jones.

Like fantasy rankings mean anything at all. It's like the bottom of the notacon barrel you just scraped.

So Mac Jones is 22nd QB per the ESPN link 2 posts above.

backup QB for when a real QB is on bye… perhaps.

I did notice though, Josh Allen was 1.

I love that Creature17 is on our team!!!

You seem to think that acknowledging that Mac Jones might be a decent QB means you can't have confidence in the Bills. The two things are not mutually exclusive.

He's a decent QB, but he's nothing special. Losing McDaniel will be huge.

Yeah, but imagine being someone who is afraid of Mac Jones and also predicts the Bills starting 2-5.

That type of person must be a real Eeyore.

I don’t believe you....and even if true, it just shows what a coward you are in avoiding posts that you can’t refute.

More specifically, Eeyore is a fictional character in the Winnie-the-Pooh books generally characterized as a pessimistic, gloomy, depressed, anhedonic, old grey stuffed donkey.

Holy crap. When one has to resort to FANTASY FOOTBALL rankings.....you know their argument is vapid as can be.

The FACT is that Mac Jones actual stats are pretty impressive.....Iíll repeat them for those that are trying desperately to avoid the facts...

Mac Jonesí stats measured pretty well against Josh Allenís 2021 regular season....

    Yards passing:
    Allen - #8 - 4,407
    Jones #13 - 3,801

    Avg yards per attempt:
    Allen - #24 - 6.8
    Jones - #14 - 7.3

    Completion percentage:
    Allen - #24 - 63.3%
    Jones - #8 - 67.6%

    TDís:
    Allen - #7 - 36
    Jones - #14 - 22

    INT:
    Allen - #25 - 15
    Jones - #21 - 13

    Passer rating:
    Allen - #16 - 92.2
    Jones - #15 - 92.5

And donít forget that he was at the helm for 10 wins last year. Not too shabby for ANY QB, much less a rookie.

If you're talking about me, I never said I was "afraid" of Mac Jones. All I said that he's good enough that he could take a game from us if we don't take him seriously.

I mean the guy went 10-7 and made the playoffs as a rookie. They were only one game behind us for the division and were in the div hunt until either the last or second to last week of the season- can't remember exactly. And you're already writing him off as if he's Mark Sanchez. It doesn't make sense.

You sound pretty afraid to me.

Maybe you should use your 'strength of schedule' argument that you use AGAINST the Bills all of the time and apply it to the 10 teams that the Patriots beat last year. You know, the argument that you probably used to come up with our 2-5 projected start next year.

That's not the same at all.

Mac Jones is supposed to throw more than 3 passes every game. At most, Josh Allen will play Brady twice per year.

The difference is clear as day.

Other than I proved my point. Jones doesn't suck. Bills fans continue to prove to be idiots.

People come on here and say arbitrary stupid (false) **** and don't like being told when they are wrong. Who's hypersensitive. It's you, not me.
