The most likely case will be a stroke, given her age and the kind of stress she might have on daily basis.

Per patient information representative, I can confirm that Kim Pegula is hospitalized in the ICU at Baptist Health Boca Raton Regional.
That doesn't sound good. So sudden, so bad to be in the ICU, generally means she's not hemodynamically stable or there's trouble stabilizing her vital signs.

I knew someone who's in the late 40s got brain hemorrhage over the Memory Day weekend. She fell, even got up on her own but lost control of her left side of the body. Air lifted to a hospital ICU. AngioGram is not conclusive of the cause because the area is hard to tell with dried up blood. Like most cases involving brain, if it is NOT getting worse, the best remedy is let it self-heal. But the part of gaining control of your body back is a long journey - something like retrain your brain what it means and feels like move your leg and arm.
If it was a stroke, hopefully it was thrombotic/embolic and they recognized and treated it in time to prevent long-term damage.
