All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

I went with the Lions.... and picked the Ravens. My "upset pick" is the Jets over the Dolphins - more wishful thinking than anything. I can't remember who mom picked for those games without pulling up the pick'em website. If I get off work early enough before kickoff I'll get the pics posted.
I had the Jets over Miami....then I just could not go through with it. It will be no surprise if the Jets grab a much needed home win.
The biggest thing we learned from the Bills is that they are a resilient bunch and did what they had to do to win instead of past years where they fold like a cheap lawn chair.

You mean 0-2 start with Denver ****ting the bed on Thursday.
Yes to that one too.

This week is a perfect example why I never bet actual money on football games.
I change my pick from NE to Detroit, and they get DESTROYED by the Pats.
In my heart, I know that Jets are going to beat Miami. And I don’t follow my gut and lose that one too. It’s irrelevant that Bridgewater got hurt (that was easy to predict ) but that would not have mattered. The Jets were poised to roll....and they did.
With five more games to go, I’m sitting with a dismal 5-6 record. oy vey!

Not terrible at 41-38 (I’m not counting the tie) for a fairly dismal .519 season record.
Week 6 looks like it has many sure winners....which means I’ll probably have the worst week of the year.
I’ve made my picks, just want to mull them over so I have every chance to make it worse.
I haven't even looked at the games yet LOL. I have to leave for an appointment - so I'll print them out for us tonight. Mom probably already knows who she's going to take though.

I caught the last two minutes when I got up to get ready for work and wth? I'm so glad I didn't see this game. Both mom and I picked the Bears to win. It seems like other than week 1 (I'd have to go back and check) - I just can't get the TNF pick right.

I had the Bears also. They had a chance to pull it off, Mooney just needed a clean catch.
What a terrible game. The Bears had several chances to get a win. Fumbling a punt return on their own 6 yard line was inexcusable. Getting inside the Commanders 5 yard line TWICE and coming up with ZERO points was like getting a colonoscopy without a sedative.
Wentz is washed up. He is backup material, if that. Why they don’t play Heinicke (or even Howell) is inexplicable. Looks like Rivera is on the hot seat, or at least should be. The Washington franchise is a ****ing dumpster fire. They take the lead from their scumbag owner.
As the announcers and the post game analysis pounded on, Fields is being completely misused by a rookie HC who is apparently too pig headed to scheme an offense that fits Fields’ obvious elite talent.
This is prefect example of a coaching staff ****ing up a potential star QB. It’s really ugly to watch. If I was a Bears fan, I would be LIVID, and call for Eberflus’ head.
Bears and Commanders fans have this ****show to put up with, while us Bills fans (and the whole NFL world) are looking forward to one of the best games of the year this Sunday. I truly feel sorry for them.

I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.
I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.
