You’ve got three timeouts and you take the ball out of Wilson’s hands, the QB tied for the most 4th comebacks in football the last 10 years to try a 64-yard kick…had a full minute to call timeout WITH THREE LEFT and didn’t…Dumb Dumb Stupid Moronic

Russell Wilson: I don’t think it was the wrong decision

Publicly, Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson supports the decision of coach Nathaniel Hackett to attempt a 64-yard field goal in lieu of giving Wilson a chance to convert fourth and five, in order to make the kick a little (or a lot) easier to make.

“It breaks your heart when someone leaves and you don’t know why.”

"It may be raining but there's a rainbow above you"

Former President Donald Trump early Thursday touted the results of a new NPR/PBSNewsHour/Marist poll showing him ahead of President Joe Biden by 8 percentage points among independents.

He's not going to publicly dis his head coach after one game.

It really was a perplexing decision. Converting on a 4th and 5 is pretty low odds, but not as low as a 64 yard FG. Plus, I think they would have had to use a timeout on that play, but that would have left two timeouts left so there's still a chance they could have gotten the ball back for another play or two if they could have forced a 3 and out.

And, I know this goes beyond just the gameday decision, but they paid Wilson a **** ton of money. It's hard to defend giving a guy such a huge payday if you think a 64 yard kick is better odds than him getting 5 yards.

It is a long kick, he has the leg for it ...... BUT yes I was surprised by the decision .... but you gotta make a choice I guess ... to me not a very good one was made by Hack.

29 attempts in NFL history of Field goals 64 yards or longer... and only 2 have been made... ya should have went for it on 4th and 5

Now calling 2 timeouts with 10 second left on a kneel down was an idiot move

Actually, the correct stat was on ESPN this morning.

                2 for 41.

1 was in Denver & 1 was in the Lions indoor stadium. There has never been an outdoor kick from that long except 1 time in Denver's thin air. So Hackett thought something that has never been done in league history is "field goal range" as he said in his post game presser.

They were saying on the broadcast the Donkey kicker had a better percentage over 50 away from mile high. The O wasn't moving very well. I can see having a shot at it verse nothing but 64 yards is a long shot.

It had the effect of prolonging his own agony.

He will lose at a lot of games that his team had a chance to win.

And have half the world see he was out of his depth. How many kneel down fumbles have you seen after the Herm Edwards one?

Addressing his decision to attempt a game-winning 64-yard FG last night, Broncos’ HC Nathaniel Hackett just told reporters, “Looking back at it, we definitely should've gone for it.”
