October good. November bad.
Get UPL outta here. Get a real veteran goalie. And two veteran defenders. Get men, not boys. Wake up. Adams digging in on this youth thing. Time to open your wallet Pegula.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems to me there was a bright line, a specific incident, where the team went from winning to losing.
That incident was Samuelsson's injury. Before he went down they were playing with confidence & winning. After he went down, the team went straight down the tubes.
You want a real LOL? Here you go....
OPINION: Sabres cave in, lose eighth-straight game in TorontoHe’s (Granato) starting to say the same things Phil Housley would say when things started turning South.
"We just have to keep learning, we just have to keep working. We'll come out of this," Granato said following Saturday's loss.
None of that is happening, and short of a 10-game winning streak, this team has pretty much taken themselves out of playoff contention for an NHL record 12th-straight year.
Saturday’s game showed how fragile this team is.
LOL!!!
Tuned in late and we're up 3-0. Now 3-1. Probably done scoring for the night.
Sabres up 6-2 over the Montreal Goons.
Thompson
Tuch
Skinner
Dahlin
Peterka
Jokiharju
Samuelsson back and the winning resumes.
Check the losing streak with games missed by Samuelsson. The losing coincides with his absence.
The losing streak is finally over.
Nice win by the Sabres even if it was over our developmentally handicapped countrymen in Quebec.
7 goals is 7 goals.
You have to respect that.
All I can say is the losing streak coincided with the time he missed. The entire starting defense was back in place last night. You could see the difference in Dahlin, who was ornery and took some dumb penalties for being too aggressive. It didn't matter.
Power – Jokiharju
Samuelsson – Dahlin
Bryson - Lyubushkin
They sat Krebs, Sheahan, Fitzgerald and Pilut. All of whom should probably be set down to Rochester. I think the only player they were missing was Okposo.
The only knock I can think of is that so much reliance on one line is going to lose a lot more games.
One goal out of 7 by a forward not named Thompson, Skinner or Tuch.

Granato feels the same way you do too. So he took Tuch off that line and put the new guy, Jost, with Thompson and Skinner...
At least in practice on Monday. He kept the line together in the game last night. In three of the last four games, the Sabres have only managed to score one or two goals in a game. Granato feels his team has been relying too much on the top line of Tage Thompson, Jeff Skinner and Alex Tuch. The Sabres head coach is contemplating keeping the lines together, as well as splitting them up to get more scoring on multiple lines.
“I’ve talked about it early in the season, not having Tuch with Thompson and Skinner to help us. [Tuch] can drive another line, there’s no question. We need to find other scoring chances outside the Thompson line,” Granato said.

Back at home tonight against the Blues in the Goat uniform.
Go for 2 in a row.
