Fun game to be at. Full crowd. They looked better in the first than I expected after the long lay-off. Kinda lapsed the first half of the second despite Skinners goal, but ramped it up hard for the rest of the period. 5-0 at the beginning of the third and a Bills game broke out, instead of really burying the Wings they let them back in the game. Looked tired. Son brought the caps for Okposos's hat trick, first time I've done that.

The Sabres had been skating for a coupe of days prior to the game and had their legs. They came out flying. One bad stretch at the start of the 3rd when 3 Detroit goals went in but overall, solid.
