It looked hopeless at this point. I'm happy with the point..

    That was stunning.

    Amazing.

Bruins had a 3-2 lead with 6:36 left and a 5 on 3 with one Sabre penalty 4 minutes. Looked bleak. Not only did they fight off that penalty, but Cozens scores out of nowhere. Awesome. UPL standing on his head.

    Cozens clutch today. Just clutch.

    UPL too.

    Tuch with 2.

Stars should be Tuch, Cozens, UPL.

How great was that ! UPL played great. Tuch has his whole family there.

6 in a row ! Happy New Year Sabres !

Sat. afternoon they visit Boston. A measuring stick game.
    Sabres measured up today.

That Boston Bruin team is great and they turned it up a notch in the 3rd. This was the best hockey game I've seen in a very long time. I'm still stunned by Cozens game-tying goal.

If they can keep getting this kind of goaltending playoffs are possible. Need to keep winning and get up with the pack of teams in the mid 40's.

Great win to fight back against a tough Bruins team.

Talent-wise, the Bruins are still better but the Sabres never gave up and were rewarded.

In the early-mid 00’s, i went to a bunch of Caps games. I always went when the Sabres were in town, and my brother would get free tix from work sometimes. It was when Ovechkin was first coming into his own and they were starting to put some pieces around him. You could tell that they weren’t quite there but it definitely felt like they were on the way to something great.

That’s how I feel about this Sabres team. They still need to fix some things, but they’ve turned a corner and they’re moving in the right direction.

    Ah pooh.

3 stars are Tuch, Marchand, and Bergeron.

    What the heck is that?

Home cooking. UPL not being in there is a joke.

Absolutely. The more these young guys play the better they're getting. The only old guys on the team are on the 4th line. Goaltending is still the big question mark.

It's Boston. There and Philly, even if the home team loses 12-0 two of the three stars are staying with them.

It will take a lot of the steam out of yesterdays win if they can't win this one too.
