Vinnie Hinostroza is going to be one of the odd men out this year if he doesn't get his scoring up. (He scored last night). But with Quinn & Peterka seemingly sticking and all the other youngsters pushing to make the big team, there aren't a lot of spots remaining. He and Asplund are at biggest risk of losing their spots. Both are pretty good players.

Peterka is not a lock yet. Hot and cold.

You are 100% correct. Quinn went ice cold in the playoffs. 2 assists in 10 games while Peterka had 7 goals and 5 assists.
I am strictly going by what the media talking heads have stated this past month. Quinn is flying and getting good results. Locking up a spot on the 2nd line.
Peterka was scheduled for the 3rd line but is 50/50 for making opening night, due to playing a bit tentative and making some mistakes. Hinistroza may take his spot for now but I realize that's just the chatter. Sounds like they want to get him going better, which may indicate Rochester initially but we'll see. He had 68 points in the AHL regular season. Quinn had 61 in only 45 games once he returned from injury and was always the top guy for promotion.
I'm rooting for him and fully expect to see him sooner or later. Maybe it's just finding him the right 2 guys to play with on a line.
Comrie looks awful.
Sabres down 2-0 early vs Penguins.

3-0 in the first.
No Dahlin, Thompson, Power or Skinner.
Hinostroza with a shorty!
