Olofsson with two EN goals finishes it off. Very solid game from Anderson. Hope he can stay healthy this year.

What a winner winner chicken dinner
Anderson was unreal. Hats off.

4-1 it'll work.

One game is too small of a sample size to get too excited or too upset about. That being said, there was a lot to like about this game. The only real negative was the PP and Granato can fix that.
Anderson won them that game, no question.
Sabres as a whole were a bit sloppy with Ottawa having multiple clean breaks in on goal. Granato said as much in the post game.
Cromrie scheduled to start in Goal today. 1pm afternoon game.
Florida dominated the play in a 4-3 win. Sabres gave up multiple breaks in on goal. Took 6 penalties and gave up 2 PP goals. Surprised they kept it that close. Cromrie got shelled.
Historian (10-19-2022)
True; Comrie didn't get much help. That said, a few observations: 1. At least they were in there battling to the end(save for the time they tried pulling Comrie for an extra attacker; Florida kept the Sabres pinned in their own end until it was way too late). 2. This game is a perfect illustration of how far the Sabres have to go until they're on the same level as, say, Florida. Ottawa, who's around the Sabres in terms of being relevant, is one thing. The Panthers are on another level altogether.
I'm not down on them. It's early and they need to find effective line combo's which click. Long term growth.
84 games, which is 14 games too much (IMO) to improve. NHL plays these guys into exhaustion.
Night Train (10-17-2022)
West coast trip came early. I see Granato is already juggling lines in practice. Results will speak for themselves.
Beat Edmonton!
Dahlin blooming.. absolutely a stud
3-1 good guys after 2.
