Kevyn Adams is doing a good job clearing the decks and getting ready for the draft:
Andres Bjork to Blackhawks for future considerations.

Not here to be right, just here to have interesting discussions about my impulsive opinions
Might as well lose big.
Now will they come back and fight in the next one?
The worst loss of the year.
After the last two games, it's hard to see how they make the playoffs.
At this point, we're in an 11 year playoff drought and so few players have playoff experience. Obviously, I'd love to see them make a deep playoff run and compete for a cup, but clearly we aren't there yet. I'd be happy just to get in, even though the most likely outcome is getting pulverized by Boston in the first round.
There's always value in getting in .... you can't worry about who you may face.
Ideally, it would be great to nab that last playoff spot and keep Washington, Ottawa, Florida and Detroit out.
But, the Sabres are 5 points behind Pitt and only have 1 game in hand. So, the 7th seed seems highly unlikely.
Boston has 101 points. No one else in the east has more than 86, so they are all but guaranteed the #1 seed. They are seriously good and loaded up this week for a serious Cup run.
If the Sabres make it, it will almost definitely be Boston in the first round. If that happens and the Sabres upset Boston, it would be glorious. I just don't see that happening, though. Last night proves that we just aren't there talent-wise, especially if Dahlin is still hurt.
Of course, if we make it, I'd still consider this season a huge success, even if we get destroyed in the first round.

Agree get there put that notch on the belt 1st.
After that its playoff hockey and all fans know that's different.
Few things, we beat Boston with a full squad. The refs are going to put the whistles away in the playoffs, that will favor the cheap team but we have talent & can score. I think we pull up Jiri & Savoie, see how they look. We’re not out of options, we just need to retool a bit. Fortune favors the bold, we are young & will have nothing to lose. UPL can catch fire as well, he’s gifted.
