All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
The Sabres had been skating for a coupe of days prior to the game and had their legs. They came out flying. One bad stretch at the start of the 3rd when 3 Detroit goals went in but overall, solid.
Seems the line combo's have been found and unlike the Lindy days, left alone once they show success.
Sat. afternoon they visit Boston. A measuring stick game.
Sabres measured up today.
That Boston Bruin team is great and they turned it up a notch in the 3rd. This was the best hockey game I've seen in a very long time. I'm still stunned by Cozens game-tying goal.
Great win to fight back against a tough Bruins team.
Talent-wise, the Bruins are still better but the Sabres never gave up and were rewarded.
In the early-mid 00’s, i went to a bunch of Caps games. I always went when the Sabres were in town, and my brother would get free tix from work sometimes. It was when Ovechkin was first coming into his own and they were starting to put some pieces around him. You could tell that they weren’t quite there but it definitely felt like they were on the way to something great.
That’s how I feel about this Sabres team. They still need to fix some things, but they’ve turned a corner and they’re moving in the right direction.

Absolutely. The more these young guys play the better they're getting. The only old guys on the team are on the 4th line. Goaltending is still the big question mark.
