All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Just frustrating. They played themselves into a position where they have a realistic shot, and then they play some of their worst hockey of the season.

As frustrating as it is for the fans to watch, you've gotta think the tension is about ten times that in the locker room.

What's really frustrating is the possibility of inactivity this summer.Adams, rightfully, is in love with the future of this core. Always talks about the prospect depth and building from within. Which is fine. That's great. What I'm afraid of the belief in the core so strongly, that they don't identify weaknesses and work to improve on those weaknesses from outside the organization, because prospects that can help that are "in house"That would be a catastrophic mistake.
Not choking. You have to be good to actually choke.
They have to learn how to play Defense as a team. That's in addition to the Goalie issue. No more false beliefs.
That can only be established in summer camp with some new faces and maybe coaches on the roster. Can't play D and cannot kill penalties. Nothing will change until work is put in.
Exactly. But you can teach defense while you're teaching offense. What is Granato doing? Because it seems there is a lot he is not doing.
I get that Jeff Skinner is never going to be defensive forward of the year, but my goodness.

I've tried to format this several times, but formatting on mobile sucks
UPL deserved a star in yesterday's game vs a very good Ranger team. Held them to just on goal in regulation.
And I'm not sure what Dahlin was supposed to do on that penalty he was given in OT. He dropped his stick immediately. How is that a hook? It looked like the Ranger cradled his stick, held on to it on purpose to get the call. Holding on to the opponents stick should not have caused Dahlin to have a penalty.
Also, a week ago we were talking about making the playoffs
Now we are on bedard watch. Fun!
We're not on Bedard watch. And quite frankly, with what we have in the pipeline, I don't WANT him here.
Columbus or San Jose, IMO, have a better shot to land him.
John Hemingway(facing certain death): I want to see Buffalo win the Super Bowl.
David Coltrane(threatening John): Nobody's going to live that long, pal.
