All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

Next season I say roll with Levi and a vet that's not on the team right now. I don't see a good reason to start him in Rochester this fall. Split the playing time to start and see how it goes. I honestly think Adam's feels the same way. It's why he didn't get a legitimate goalie in the off-season.
They have improved and this is by far the best season in a long time.
But, I said it before and I'll say it again: It's so frustrating how this team doesn't show up in these big games. This was Florida, not Boston. Talent-wise they are not much better than us, if at all. All they had to do was beat a mediocre team. Instead, they managed just one goal and they got their rookie goalie barraged with shots.
Young players have to get tougher and learn how to play better in their own end. That's what is keeping them out of the post-season. Long stretches of panic in their own end. Can't clear the puck. PK unit is bad. Still bullish. Put in the work and improve.
Anonymity is an abused privilege, abused most by people who mistake vitriol for wisdom and cynicism for wit
And they actually came through and won an important game.
For sure. Levi is fine. Even if he gives up 9 goals in 14 shots next game, its fine. It's a process. There are going to be potholes. There are going to be growing pains.

He's going to be just fine.
Well like you said. It’s a huge step from college to the AHL and a huge step from the AHL to the NHL and Levi skipped that stepping stone.
He isn’t an NHL star yet. He made mistakes. But he also does good things that guys with a lot more experience - like UPL- do not do. Just 3 games in… he doesn’t look overwhelmed. He looks like he belongs. He’ll get there.
Dahlin had the best defensive play of his career so far and they took the lead on that puck possession directly afterward.
What a game he had.
And Mittelstadt.
I thought he should have been a goner in December but boy has he found his game as of late. If he's a bottom 6 guy going forward, our future is bright.
Next man who needs to get his game going is Power. He is getting outmuscled on the regular. But he's young like everybody else.
