First period in the books. Only 2 shots against Levi. Held his own.
Lybushkin plays hard, but he's not the best defender in the NHL. Gave the puck to the Rangers deep in the Sabres zone at the end of the period.
Greenway puts Sabres up 2-0. Levi with 5 saves so far.
I only saw the last 10 min of the 2nd but he made some good saves. The one goal was a weird bounce and he had no prayer.
Greenway’s goal was incredible, as was Mit’s pass to set it up.
Sabres guilty of not playing a full game again. Defense good in period one, so-so in second and poor in the third. Not on Levi at all. Onslaught around net for Rangers 2nd goal is on the front 5 guys failing.
Rangers are pouring it on, SOG are now 32-30 Sabres but 19-8 in the third in favor of NY.
That was a pretty goal by Skins to give Levi the Double u.

Ryan Miller allowed 4 goals in his first game. The team lost to the Devils. Talk about last night, Levi is getting off on the right foot.
Really cool how Skinner pointed at Levi and went to center ice to meet him after the winner.

Seeing how big a jump from the AHL to the NHL is, I figured Levi would really look green last night coming from the NCAA. From all accounts, he didn't (game was blacked out due to it being on NHLN) and I really figured he would give up 4 or 5.
Anyone who thinks this is the norm, temper your expectations. But hey, maybe he really is ready
