Are players on season ending IR allowed on the sideline? I think he is the single biggest reason Poyer has become the player he has become, and I'd hate to lose his input.

My heart is broken for him. He's an OG and he won't really be apart of why this team wins a Superbowl if they do. I've been so upset since I heard the news .

My best to Hyde, looking forward to seeing him back next season. He's a critical piece.

Here is Jaquan Johnson's draft profile from 2019 : https://www.nfl.com/prospects/jaquan...2-1d97f9de4bb8

If you notice, his weaknesses aren't how the Bills use Hyde anyway. He's been in the system since 2019, knows the defense, has been around Hyde and Poyer, has played on special teams against NFL players. He gets his chance to step up, McFrazier kept him around for a reason.

It is what it is, away we go.

He's going to be 32 in December. With a neck injury like that, I don't know. We can hope for the best, but we'll be drafting a safety next spring.

This is is 4th season with the Bills. And a contract year for him. I expect good things from him. Bills only other safety is Hamlin, so they are dangerously thin at that position.

People (on twitter) are saying that he travelled with team to Miami.

This really sucks. Especially when game was well in hand when it happened. This gives some young guy an opportunity. We need that guy to make the most of it.

    Sucks.

Hope he can fully recover, and return to play if that's what he wants without risking worse damage.

Time for Johnson and Hamlin to put on their big boy pants and step up.

With him being 32 next year, it wouldn't surprise me if retirement talk happens to be honest.

I think we've seen the last of Poyer and Hyde playing together.

If Johnson and Hamlin hold their own (which I believe they will) and the Bills banged up secondary does not get totally run over like Baltimore was in the 4th Q last week, it will go a long way to determine the fate of Hyde and Poyer.
