The Good: Bless their hearts, the Defense actually played good and did everything you could ask of them. 9 out of 10 times when you get the ball back to Josh with under 2 minutes to play you will win. Not their fault that this was that 10th time

The Bad: Turnovers, missed field goals, and blown opportunities. Two drives and you come away with three points? Josh Allen Fumbles to allow the Fish to tie the game in the first.

The Ugly: the penalties and lack of discipline and situational awareness. Again, I will forgive the defense for allowing the Fish to convert on 3rd and Forever. However, all the stupid penalties on the offense and the complete lack of situational awareness on the last drive? That is unforgivable. Buh buh buh Gibbster, the refs. Bullcrap. Yes, there is no doubt that the refs favored the fish today, but you know what? We beat ourselves. We played sloppy. When you play sloppy and you take yourself out of position to win you will lose.

The verdict: We have been playing sloppy and undisciplined the first two weeks and we paid dearly for it. We clean up our act and get healthy then this game will not mean too much in the long run for this season. However, we have to learn the right lessons. This game, sans injuries, reminds me of the Jacksonville, Tampa, and Pittsburgh games from last year when utter incompetence and sloppy and undisciplined play did us in.

Oh well on to Baltimore.
