I didn't see the McVay thing yet but I would guess he's probably just taking a longer vaca than usual. He already said the media 'offers' were flattering but he's going to coach.

Also, Harbaugh will interview with Denver.

    Knope. And Keim krept away.

His 2nd half of the season record, going back to his Texas Tech days, is abysmal. The season didn't start great this year, but even before Murray was hurt, they were 1-5 in their last 6 games.

    I dunno.

Work for one year and get full bank for four-to-five.

Sounds like a pretty good deal to me.

I read DeMico Ryans declined an interview with the Texans.

It's a comfort in the end, but I can't imagine Culley or Lovie saw it as anything less than a chance at something they weren't intended to get a chance at, on purpose. Just seems real low and intentional.

They really need to get rid of Caserio. Outside of extremely unusual circumastances, no GM should get a shot at hiring 3 head coaches in 3 seasons.

It all starts with Cal McNair though. Houston fans call him "Tommy Boy". Caserio at least finally managed to get rid of Easterby.

It's hard to think they didn't do this on purpose. Both Culley and Lovie were both hired out of nowhere at the last minute, without the least interest from other teams. Smith was Culley's bad DC and married to the dated Tampa-2. Culley actually won .5 more games.

Doesn't make any sense, but then again it's the Texans, and they wanted to hire Josh McCown as their HC when Flores was the logical hire last season.

Hard to see even any vague attempt at being competitive the past two seasons.

Cal McNair and Mark Davis are owners kids who never should have advanced out of the mail room. Same with Bidwell.

I heard he's really smart. Obviously too smart to want to coach a dumpster fire.

Reports that McVay has told the Rams he's coming back in 2023.

Reading lately (rumors), Ryans has actually become the favorite for the Texans and they might pursue Edmunds. Payton still in play for the Cardinals, Denver regrouping to look at young assistants from the Eagles, Giants and Philly.

Payton should want nothing to do with the Cardinals job. You're not going to win with Kyler Murry.

I don't think they realize that yet. I mean hey, they're football experts not like us clueless people without insight.
