All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!

Russell Wilson Out, Brett Rypien To Start For Broncos
Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson will not play on Sunday against the Jets.
Brett Rypien will start for the Broncos. It’s the second start of his career, and the first start, a win, was also against the Jets. Broncos head coach Nathaniel Hackett had previously indicated he would decide on Sunday whether to start Wilson or Rypien, but Wilson has apparently been struggling enough with the injury that the decision was made a day early. The 2-4 Broncos have been one of the NFL’s most disappointing teams this season, and now they’ll hope their backup quarterback can give them a spark against the 4-2 Jets.
“It breaks your heart when someone leaves and you don’t know why.”
"It may be raining but there's a rainbow above you" Former President Donald Trump early Thursday touted the results of a new NPR/PBSNewsHour/Marist pollshowing him ahead of President Joe Biden by 8 percentage points among independents.
Re: Russell Wilson Out, Brett Rypien To Start For Broncos
Too bad they can't fire Hackett & bring in someone on the coaching sidelines like Payton. Nowadays, the best a team can do is promote an assistant as interim coach through the end of the season. I looked at the assistant coaches & none of them are among the hot prospects as future head coaches, with 72 year old Dom Capers being the only one with NFL HC experience.
They might as well tank the season, trade their #1 pick & get back some of the draft capital they lost in the Wilson trade & pray like crazy that Russ isn't completely washed up. If he is as washed up as he looks so far, they are doomed for the next few seasons because they are stuck with a bad contract that if they tried to dump him would make for one of the worst cap situations ever seen.
The GM would be wise not to make any long term future plans about life in Denver unless he can get a job at one of Elway's car dealerships.

I picked the Jets to win.... but I'd really like the Broncos to win - for multiple reasons
Jets - AFCE
I've never been a huge Russell Wilson fan
A Broncos win puts more pressure on the Chiefs
