Disagree. Every year, there are some teams that make the playoffs that don't have a legit shot at winning it. But anyway, we are arguing semantics. The way this team is playing, there are multiple AFC teams that will beat us.

By your definition, Marshall is a contender for the CFB playoffs because they were allowed to play games. By your definition, every team that makes the March Madness tournament is a contender to win it. You know that's not true.
My opinion may be not every team can win it. The fact is they are all contenders.

Technically everyone is a contender until they are ruled out. Everyone who makes the playoffs is technically a contender.
Contender - a person or group competing with others to achieve something.
Feeling a team is not a contender is conjecture, until it becomes fact.

Everyone is 0-0 when the playoffs start. Any team can get hot like the 4th seeded Rams and Bengals did last year.
It happens but it's the exception to the rule.
Right now, we're losing to the Jets, choking against the Vikings, and barely beating the Packers, Browns and Lions.

I most certainly did not say that. The Bills had the opportunity to contend during the drought. They were never close to actually being contenders.

They had to go to OT at home vs TN who was playing with no QB. Chargers blew many chances to build a lead that would have prevented a last drive win for KC. Then they struggle with the Rams who were as one dimensional with no QB as any team you'll ever see. The Opi of the Chiefs board is probably saying they have no shot if they keep playing like this.
