Their play was the most encouraging thing about tonight for me. 1 bad play. Actually got off the field on 3rd downs. I think we missed Rousseau a lot. I know it was against Mac Jones. Miami will be the big test.

I still loved the big hit in the end zone by Damar Hamlin.
The ejection was that right?
Tre White how many snaps tonight?
Anybody know?

I liked what Basham was doing tonight, too.
The young guys stepped up in Von's absence and kept Jones on the run quite a bit.
Having Edmunds back was huge. We are truly a better defense when he is on the field. I think the Bills will try hard to keep him.
Tre played a lot and looked okay. I like how the staff is handling his return.
Milano needs some rest.
Hamlin is not the smart player Hyde is and it shows every game. He's going to be a liability in the playoffs.
The chatter about Hyde maybe coming back has me hopeful but I highly doubt it happens.
Much better today but I'll reserve judgement until after we play Miami.

We do miss Edmunds when he's not out there. No doubt about it.

We still miss Von, but probably not before the playoff.
Seeing Mac Jones dodged several near sacks in the 2nd half is frsutrating. Von has the knack to convert one or two of those opportunities into the sacks. I don't see Tua, Burrows are the Mahomes type that will hurt you big time while scrmabling. But against a guy like Mahomes, getting one sack vs not getting him to the ground could decide a win/loss.
It was New England, Mac Jones, no receivers, and a depleted offensive line. I'm not going to get too excited.

amazing what can happen when the entire first team defense isn't flipping injured
I came.
I saw.
I conquered.

The call was correct by any measure of the spirt of the rule as well. An extremely good and needed one.
The fact is that Hamlin targeted a defenseless WR’s head, with his shoulder. (Thankfully, not with Hamlin's head).
There is no place in the game for that kind of hit. Period.
Hamlin deserved to be ejected. I would expect the same if any opposing player did the same to a Bills WR.

Watch it again. He did not go after the ball. He hit him square in the head. That was NOT a “clean" hit.
