BTW...the Von Miller injury, just like the Tre’ White injury last year was most likely caused by artificial turf.

Turf should be BANNED in the NFL.

I’m not a fan of turf but Forward said, he got rolled up on.

BTW, as you know my son tore his ACL 4 times. Two were on turf, two were on grass. Incidentally the first two were one each.

Nope. The injury is not because he was “rolled up on”.


The video you provided is quite clear. The reason he got injured was because his foot stuck on the turf.....then he was slightly stepped on. With grass, this does not happen.


This is the moment he got hurt....before being stepped on....

Von's injury wasn't caused by turf. A player rolled up on his leg in the most awkward way. I doubt being on grass would've made a difference on that one.

I disagree. Look at the video again and the picture I pulled from it. Players complain of this “stickiness’ ALL THE TIME.

With grass, there is some give. Turf has no “give”.


Of curse, it’s difficult to know for sure. You can't see inside his knee.

Players HATE turf with a passion.

I said in the other thread the only reason they put him on IR was because he was going to have surgery that day. Well, OK I was wrong it was the next day! But why bamboozle us so much? Exploratory surgery is BS he went down there to get his meniscus tear replaced and they found the ACL during the surgery and repaired it.

It is just disheartening that these people take to lying to the public just to manage 'what people think'. Quite honestly, that is not the way to go about it and a train-wreck. Thank you Mr. McDermott!

Turf sucks and no one knows if the injury would have been different and/or avoided were the situation to have occurred on grass.

Not necessarily. There are ways to maintain some kind of grass in a dome.

It would be expensive, but the NFL is rolling in billions of dollars.

If they banned domes, it would not bother me one bit.

BTW....all grass needs to be maintained is water and light.

Daylight can easily be simulated artificially. There is a pretty substantial business for LED lighting for indoor marijuana growing.

It could be accomplished relatively easily.
