Dion Dawkins a penalty magnet as Bills ground the Jets

    https://www.buffalorumblings.com/202...kins-cj-mosley

Pretty much the only interesting thing here is the day that left tackle Dion Dawkins had. Buffalo was called for eight penalties, and three were declined. Dawkins accounted for half of the called flags, with four, but only one of them was declined. That means he was responsible for 60% of the assessed penalties against the Bills on the day.

I’ve often felt that the penalty count bars (red ones) aren’t really needed. It seems pretty rare where a player has more than one flag of a particular type in a given game. Then we get three holding calls in one game to remind me why I do it. Thanks, Dion?

He's probably still recovering from what made him miss the Cheats game. And as an aside, it's amazing how little opposing teams hold the Bills' DL. Just truly astounding.

It’s not everyday you see a player commit holding and still get their QB popped. Banner day for Dawkins

I assume its due to his injury and being rusty, but yeah that was bad. Especially since their biggest threat was in the interior

It's statistically impossible actually, it's quite literally the difference between a 20 point win and a 10 point win on average. The league is trying to keep the game even, even when it's not even. Call it ratings, the refs are old to keep it fair. Which is a green light to finding an issue where there is none. Can you remember any Bills shouldn't have got it call like the Chargers last night getting rougher the passer on a sack ?? It simply never happens. That ended that game, that one call went from a Chargers punt from the 5 to 1st down at the 34.

We don't have a better player to replace him with.

He as the record shows holds way too much.

Sometimes out of necessity it becomes necessary but he needs technique work or something .... he needs to be better and I'm pretty sure he can be ..... it's up to him.

    Your sarcasm is spot on!!!

It never ceases to amaze me on how fickle so many Bills “fans” are, and so quick they are to **** on some of the best players on the team.

Dion Dawkins is one of the best OT in the NFL.

He's a Pro Bowler and deservedly so but at the same time it's exciting to think HE CAN BE BETTER !! As most players can be always on the improve !!

One of those holding penalties should have been called on Brown. He is more than a capable LT. The alternative is more Quessenberry. Barf.

What's his ALL-22 grade? I bet you it's nowhere near "one of the best" OT in the NFL. He's avg, at best.

Agree on that he (Q) has got grit but that might be about it.

I want Dawkins to protect Josh in fact I want all of them to do that.

    Clean QB happy QB !!
