Also don’t take Metro. Or, if you do, plan on getting some food or drinks after the game. It’s not bad getting there cuz the arrival is kind of scattered, but it’s a nightmare after the game when everyone leaves at the same time.

Dude I always use the metro…love it. Especially when I’m wearing my Mets or Sabres uni’s lol. DC fans are lightweights dude.

Well the metro for me after the game isn’t about the fans. It’s about the crowds and the waiting.

FWIW I used to commute from Alexandria to DC on the metro every day. I’ll die a happy man if I never have to take it again.

I’m only in DC for sports or museums so the crowds don’t really bother me. Besides I used to go to Disney World to torcher myself multiple times per year lol.

Yeah we do need to go back to see the museums. We’ve done American History, Natural History, Holocaust and the art galleries so many times. But, we’ve only been to the Native American museum once, and it was when it first opened, so it was super crowded and hard to enjoy it. And we’ve never been to the African American museum.

January and February are good times to go because there aren’t a lot of tourists.
