When does the "mvp" narrative wear out?

Lamars MVP seems to mean more than any MVP in nfl history because its still used as a positive but its almost becoming a slight. Its becoming like Cam/Ryan/Wentz(wouldve won mvp if not hurt)

He had 36 passing tds in 15 games

since then hes had 59 TDs in 39 games

I dont get the hype of him recently. He hasnt been good the last 2 seasons even when healthy. I just dont get how mvp seems like a lifetime achievement award

That year he was something special. 3500 passing and 1200 rushing. He led his team to a 14-2 record. That year he was arguably the best in the league. League MVP, however, is not a title you retain. Hell, in 1982 a kicker was league MVP. That will never happen again, but Mark Moseley was in 1982 the best player in the league.
