The Bills are currently projected at being over the 2023 cap by $5.5 million, but there is room to restructure a number of contracts.

Keep Lawson, Phillips, and Van Rotten.

The rest can go suck a lemon.

Matakavich, Martin and Jones stay for ST.

    Van Roten and Phillips stay.

All the RFAs stay. The rest can go elsewhere.

Poyer can have fun getting 10-12m somewhere else and Edmunds can get 15m somewhere else.

I'd ask Crowder if he wants to come back on another 1 year deal, to try and prove himself again.

    Dane if it's team friendly.

    Lawson, Phillips.

Honestly, if they all left it wouldn't be the end of the world

    Re: Bills 2023 Free Agents

    Bills need to trim salaries.

On that end, I would bring back Jordan Phillips (who is effective when healthy), Dane Jackson, Jamison Crowder, Dean Marlowe, and Shaq Lawson if it’s team-friendly deals. If they want top dollar, any / all of them can walk.

Jordan Poyer is likely gone, but I’m not sure any team will pay him what he wants. He’s welcome back to a 1-2 year deal if he will take a pay cut.

Tremaine Edmunds will command top dollar. I don’t think we can pay him, and this is actually a big reason why a change in Defensive Philosophy is warranted. This team has absolutely no LB replacement for him under the current scheme.

You have Jaquan Johnson on both lists. He's a UFA.

    Re: Bills 2023 Free Agents

Depends on what they do on defense, keeping Frasier or moving on could be two very different lists for that side of the ball.

I wouldn't break the bank for anybody, but assuming there are no changes on the offensive side of the ball I would try to bring back Crowder, Quessenberry, and Boettger. P Martin, and Matekevitch for special teams. Maybe Kumerow too, but I've had enough of T.Jones taking up a roster spot. I'd talk with Singletary but not too seriously, we can get a comparable back in free agency cheap or pick one up on day 3 of the draft.

    Re: Bills 2023 Free Agents

Yeah, I mean you absolutely need to keep Sam Martin.

I'd like to keep Jordan Phillips, Lawson, Boettger, and dunno if it's doable, Poyer for another year because like it or not he's a critical piece to the slop defense they run.

Keenum.....well, imho they need a backup QB who plays the same style as Allen. ST's......I think they can do better with some younger, more versatile pieces that would have some real game value if needed, besides. Don't really see anyone else putting in any noticeable contribution besides just a guy.

Crowder, Beasley ? By the end the slot receiver was an afterthought they barely used like you'd think they'd use a slot receiver. Dunno.

    Re: Bills 2023 Free Agents

I would like to see a list of potential free agents that we can sign to replace the ones on the list.

Its one thing to get rid of players, its another to replace them with better ones at a reasonable price.
