At this point it was yes or no. The dome idea was rejected a long time ago.

I wish we were getting a dome but they just didn't want to pay for it.

We’re obviously not a team that was created to play in the snow… so many head-scratching decisions have been made…not just about the stadium.

It really is frustrating. I mean... we play home games in Buffalo, plus we have to go on the road to NE and NJ once a year, so that's a MINIMUM of 10 games in outdoor stadiums with potential for bad weather. When it gets to the playoffs, most of the good teams in the AFC have outdoor stadiums and bad weather in January- us, KC, Cincy, Baltimore..... Ten, Pit and NE had down years but they're usually good and have outdoor stadiums and bad weather too. Simply put, it's highly unlikely that the Bills will ever make it to the SB without winning a game or two in bad weather. If we had a dome, though.... well, it would be more likely that we'd be able to get home field advantage because we'd have fewer bad weather games, and if we earned home field advantage, then we wouldn't have to worry about winning in bad weather.

Steelers and Pats have 6 rings. Has nothing to do with the stadium indoors or outdoors.
My faith doesn’t make me perfect, it makes me forgiven.

Steelers won with running and D. The Pats had a passing attack that relied on a lot of quick slants and screens.

Our passing attack relies on the deep ball, which is very much affected by the weather, and we have virtually no run game. Teams can win in outdoor stadiums if they are constructed correctly. Currently, we are not.

Agreed but it had less to do with the stadium and more to do with schemes and having a great QB and good coach which we have.

Exactly. Steelers won in a different Era.

It's a passing league now and it's why it's unfortunate to need to stack your team for a home field 'disadvantage'. Especially when there is so much invested in a qb like Allen.

I agree with imbondz, fix the offense and all is well. Again, Cincinnati had NO trouble moving the ball on the ground or through the air.
Hear something I heard in an interview with Burrow yesterday. He was asked about playing in the snow. He said snow has no effect on the ball or what we do as you saw Sunday, rain and strong winds affect it more but you can adjust. He’s also said anytime the weather is bad they practice outside so it’s not a big deal on game day. I don’t know what the Bills do, but it seems like they practice inside that beautiful practice field a lot.

No one is going to plan a stadium around the current play strengths of your offense.
    That's dumb.

Stop relying on what doesn’t work. It’s more cost effective.

    Exactly.

The glaring problem with the Bills this season was offense....not defense. Scoring 10 points is ANY game, much less a divisional playoff game, is simply unacceptable.

Jesus.....those measly 10 points were the second lowest in the playoffs this year. Only worse was NY Giants, that are not anywhere close to a team with a heralded “dynamic offense” with an elite QB like the Bills supposedly have.

Every one of the four losses this season were because of the shortcomings, inconsistency and NON-DYNAMIC OFFENSE. Pure and glaringly simple.

What almost everyone thought was their biggest strength turns out the opposite. It starts with the O-line but almost every offensive position group need improvement.

Especially (again, what almost everyone thought was a strength coming into the year) WR. We do NOT have a viable or reliable #2 WR.

We do NOT have a viable or reliable slot receiver.

We do NOT have viable or reliable depth at WR.

We do NOT have a dangerous TE, (Knox is slightly above average) and no depth.

We do NOT have variable or reliable every down RB.

We DO have an elite QB. Gotta get some real weapons around him.

Having a dome or not is totally irrelevant.

    It's relevant.

The weather fubared our ability get to Burrows, along with our effort.

    Amongst other things.
