He's a great athlete. He's just not that great as a passer. When he passes well, they win. When they have a decent lead and can use the whole playbook, they win. When it's a close game or if they get behind, he's forced to pass, the D doesn't have to respect his run, and they lose.

Mahomes, Allen, Murray- those are $40+ million a year guys because they can manufacture wins. Jackson just isn't quite there. They need more money to put pieces around him.

Kyler Murray? WHAT? He's a poor mans Lamar Jackson.

Murray is a career 25-31. He is not someone who comes to mind when I think QB's who manufactures wins. He's nowhere near the QB's Mahomes and Allen are. AZ is going to end up hating that contract.

And will miss most of next season with the ACL. That contract was so stupid. I get it the next QB contract is going to be more than the last but they should be similar players. Murray is not close to Mahomes or Josh.

I forgot about the knee injury, and this to the mix and he’s an above average CFL caliber quarterback.
